Jon Hopkins teamed up with Late Night Tales to create a mix for the night, an area he has a penchant for writing music around. From his critically acclaimed Immunity LP into his Asleep Versions EP, the man knows how to build a relatable world for us fellow insomniacs. On the mix, he released his cover of Yeasayer’s “I Remember,” which is a delicate, stripped down piano number. He described his process for the music video as something “visually imperfect” which pairs up beautifully. It’s nostalgic and warm, reminding me of walking through the English countryside.
